The
Flinders Ranges rise in gentle hills around Cristal
Brook, is 200 kilometres north of Adelaide and 110 north of Pichi
Richi Pass in the South Australia outback. This area is one of the best-loved in Australia, and most people need little
excuse to go there.
There's quality that is essentially Australian, almost emotive, in
the profusion of magnificent river gums that line creeks and roads.
Beauty is everywhere, and nearly every road and track lying between Wilpena Pound and the Parachina
area could be called a "scenic route". |
